GE Announces $10 Million Challenge
The Geekzone website reported that GE has pledged $10 million to find, fund and bring to market breakthrough ideas for reducing our carbon footprint from Australia & New Zealand. GE’s first local Challenge is an open innovation competition which calls on businesses, entrepreneurs, innovators and students to submit real ideas for low carbon solutions and technologies. The Challenge is part of GE’s global ecomagination initiative, a commitment to imagine and build innovative solutions to today’s environmental challenges while driving economic growth.
