Today, the space droids are the focal point of an Open Innovation competition, Zero Robotics, taking place this fall for high school teams across America. High-school kids will compete to write the best programming code enabling the miniature satellites to perform a cadre of maneuvers. The competition will require students to overcome complex spatial relationship challenges as it relates to understanding how to make these satellites work in unison.
