Open Innovation to Advance Mining Sector in Chile
The Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) website reported that MIF has recently approved a $1.6 million technical cooperation grant for a project to be implemented by the Chile Foundation that will seek to foster innovation in Chilean mining, improving the competitiveness of 500 local small and medium enterprises and 50 start-ups that serve as suppliers to the mining industry. Open innovation aims to combine inflows and outflows of knowledge to improve project strategy, innovation, and development.
