Full Lifecycle Innovation
An article on the NTTI website proposed four phases of “full life cycle innovation”. The first phase is Open Innovation: Open Innovation embraces practices of widely distributed knowledge, extensive outside collaboration and partnerships, and the sharing of risk and reward beyond the corporate boundaries. This initial phase of enterprise innovation needs to be driven by a focus on looking and engaging outward, seeking surprise, and embracing divergence and expansion of opportunities.
