The Future Travel Experience website reported on Turkish Airlines (TK) move to its new mega-hub, Istanbul Airport, from Atatürk Airport. The move represented one of the most significant milestones in Turkish aviation history. Istanbul Airport is now capable of processing 90 million passengers, later rising to 200 million. With the successful move to its new home completed, Turkish Airlines has entered a new era of development, innovation and growth. The airline’s innovation team was at the core of this transformation and has adopted a truly agile strategy firmly focusing on testing prototypes and creating an open innovation ecosystem through collaboration and strategic partnerships.
