Innovation Program Launched to Boost SMEs in Energy Supply Chain
The Utility Magazine website reported that an Australian-first open innovation program, titled GeneratER, has been launched by National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) to boost small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the energy resources supply chain and find local manufacturing and tech solutions to complex challenges. GeneratER has been established by NERA to offer SMEs the opportunity to capture a larger share of the multibillion-dollar spent in the energy resources supply chain. GeneratER has been custom designed to help move Australian SMEs up the supply chain — driving innovation and productivity whilst simultaneously growing local businesses and jobs. GeneratER will be followed by challenges to be rolled out nationally.
