Leonardo SpA Outlines Its Five-Year Development Plan to Attain European Leadership in Defense Electronics
The Market Screener website reported that the Italian company Leonardo SpA will invest 200 million euros annually in Italy (a total of €300 million per year when including the division in UK) to develop new products and technology, modernize production lines and strengthen its supply chain and logistics. The plan will see the creation of an open innovation system involving universities, technical training institutions and research centers. More than 20 universities and research centers will be involved, alongside nine Italian state-run technical and industrial institutions.
