The Entrepreneur website listed six recommendations in launching an open innovation strategy. 1. Ask key initial questions such as “What do I want to achieve with an open innovation program? Do I have the support of management and the board of directors?” 2. Expand the conversation to the different leaders of the company. 3. Make a profile of the startups with which you want to collaborate, 4. Empower one or two people in your company as scouters. 5. Identify two or three startups willing to develop a joint work table. 6. Measure and control the performance of the union, establish the periodicity of the follow-up.
