7th Annual World Open Innovation Conference
The Seventh Annual World Open Innovation Conference will be held virtually Dec. 10-11. Conference Chair Henry Chesbrough said, “Due to continuing safety concerns and public health restrictions with respect to large gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation, along with the support of the organizers of the World Open Innovation Conference have made the decision to transform WOIC 2020 into a virtual conference.” Keynote speakers are Alexander Ostertwalder and Solomon Darwin. The conference theme is “Leading the Recovery: Turning Threats into Opportunities with Open Innovation.” The conference organizers reported: “In this year’s edition of the WOIC, we will focus on the knowledge and tools from open innovation that help innovators overcome threats and identify new opportunities for growth and prosperity.”
