Getting Open Innovation Participation
In her article on the website “Blogging Innovation,” Andrea Meyer argues that open innovation and crowdsourcing efforts rely on participation, but–especially in large contests–people are needed to sift through, evaluate and score all ideas. The solution, she says, is to recruit and reward a crowd that helps curate, moderate, vote and refine ideas even if those participants aren’t the idea submitters.
