OI: the business world’s modus operandi?
An article in the Times of London noted that asking customers to collaborate via open-source projects — those in which people outside the company directly help shape products and services — could one day eclipse traditional focus groups. Open innovation, a term coined by American Henry Chesbrough, innovating with the aid of external ideas, is set to become the business world’s modus operandi.
