Ford Introduces Open Innovation Challenge

The Wall Street Journal reported that Ford has launched the Mobility Challenge Series, which invites developers and manufacturers to come together to find innovative mobility solutions at eight different locations around the world. The competition will start in Lisbon,  Los Angeles, , and Mumbai, . After that the competition will move to Delhi and Chennai region in India, Shanghai , Johannesburg , and Argentina. Paul Mascarenas, Ford’s chief technical officer and vice president, Research and Innovation said, “Reaching out to local stakeholders lets Ford more effectively address the diverse mobility challenges around the world.” Launching the Challenge Series in eight different regions will bring global and local players together in the pursuit of one goal,  a smarter and more efficient transportation network for the future.
