Open Innovation: A Popular But Misconceived Idea
A blog on the Linked In website clarified some misconceptions about open innovation. It noted that a company doesn’t necessarily have the best resources on the market to continue to innovate on its own. If this company wants to take their innovation a step further, they need to rely on external sources of knowledge, such as other companies. In the same way, a company also needs to make some of its knowledge available to others.
