Special Issue on Open Innovation
The Euroscientist website has published a special issue on Open Innovation. The issue presents a high-level perspective on the shift occuring within research that is bringing about open science and open innovation and offers recipes that can make open innovation work in an industrial setting. An example taken from an international structural biology research consortium reveals the basis of OI’s success. The issue offers some advice on how best to structure open innovation collaboration from practitioners in industry and gives some examples of how innovation has revived declined industries.
