IESE Expands Its Open Innovation Activity
The WFMZ website reported that IESE Business School –supported by Amazon Web Services, Nestlé, MediaMarkt, Fnac, Kapita, and more– is expanding its global activity in open innovation and corporate venturing. According to a recent IESE article in Harvard Business Review: although the collaboration between corporations and startups has increased fourfold in the past six years, near 75% of these collaborations fail to obtain the desired results. Based on years of research and a network of 500+ chief innovation officers across five continents, the school developed and coined the corporate venturing squad model, which are small groups of corporations joining forces to collaborate with one or more startups and facilitate the shared innovation experience.
