Knowledge Risk Management During Implementation of Open Innovation
In a chapter from the book Knowledge Risk Management Serdal Temel and Wim Vanhaverbeke (left) write: “The aim of this chapter, while explaining the importance of open innovation and the successful implementation results, is also to explain the risks that companies face in the implementation of open innovation. In this chapter, we first explain the risks companies face in different archetypes of open innovation process such as outside-in, inside-out, and coupled open innovation processes. Secondly, we recommended some precautions companies can take to minimize this risk and maximize the advantages.”
